What are the different types of Dryers?

Electric Dryers - Electric Dryers use a resistive heating element to create heat to dry clothes.

Natural Gas Dryers - Natural Gas Dryers burn gas to create heat to dry clothes.

Commercial Dryers - Commercial dryers are typically larger than household use dryers.  They also typically have some type of a coin operated mechanism to collect payment for use of the dryer.

What accessories are available for Dryers?

Dryer vent hoses - Most Dryers require an exhaust hose to expel the hot moist air away from the unit (and commonly away from the home where the dryer is installed).

Laundry Platforms - Laundry platforms raise the dryer such that the dryer is at a more ergonomic height.  This is typically only used on front load dryers.

Gas Installation kits - Most Gas Dryers require an exhaust hose and a gas line to connect the dryer.  Gas Installation kits include the needed hoses, fittings, thread lubricant, and clamps.

What are the different names for Dryers?

Dryers are called the following names; Automatic Clothes Dryer, Clothes Dryer, Tumble Dryers, and Laundry Dryers.
